Dragonfly Lavender Pitcher
A ceramic pitcher of lavender blooms looks perfectly at home on a Finnish table, next to the coffee and pulla. Dragonfly Lavender Pitcher comes arranged and ready, a small pleasure for an ordinary day. Finns abroad send it to a mummo in Kuopio, a friend in Tampere or parents at the summer cottage near Savonlinna, and many choose it for a nimipäivä, the name day listed in every Finnish calendar. A florist in Finland arranges the pitcher and delivers it by hand. The jug stays in use long after, for juice or more flowers.
